Movement & Discovery

It's important to move our bodies and explore new things in order to stay healthy and keep learning! Here are a few of my favorite websites for doing just that!

Go Noodle

Go Noodle

GoNoodle has tons of fun songs, guided dance routines, and calming exercises! It's our favorite in school.

Cosmic Kids

Cosmic Kids

Cosmic Kids is a yoga platform for kids and includes everything from quick meditation activities, like how to release fears and anxiety, to longer yoga routines that follow along with a fun story.

Explore.org

Explore.org

Check out the live animal feeds they have here! This is a fun way to explore different areas of the world and cool animals in their natural habitats. There are also some live feeds of puppy and kitten rooms at shelters and sanctuaries!

Tynker

Tynker

Tynker helps kids learn coding and computer programming in super fun ways. Thanks to Mr. B. for introducing this; I can't believe I hadn't heard of it! Check out our Classroom Discussions board under "Activities and Challenges" for a class code you can use when you sign up.

Code.org

Code.org

Your child can learn basic coding and computer science, then create a game or animation!
